I met this amazing family for the very first time at our session.  But boy did it feel like we had known each other for a while …we instantly hit it off. That is one of my favorite parts of being a photographer  - leaving a session having made new friends. I think many people feel nervous or anxious about meeting me and getting pictures taken but I am here to tell you the hardest part is scheduling…. after that it is all fun, relaxed  and easy.  Angie, Glen, Catherine and Helena and I all laughed and joked around…we even now have a few inside jokes/stories that I can't share here. We roamed around downtown enjoying some of the things the girls love to do - reading and playing with animals.

I was excited to capture this time as Catherine will be leaving in just a few weeks for high school in Virginia. She was given the Chatham Hall Nilsen Scholarship
