Frida Kahlo in studio? | asheville studio photographer

I love it when clients  come to me with fun sessions  concepts. This mother daughter duo picks a theme every year and then gets photographs taken together using that theme. What a great idea....and I was so excited they asked me to help.  This year, Frida Kahlo, the mexican artist best known for her self portraits, was chosen.  With flowers in their hair and mexican inspired scarfs draped across their shoulders we had the best time in studio trying to create these lovely portraits. I think it was also extra special that we were still able  take these images over the recent snow storm ...before Sophia flew off to work in France just a few days after our shoot.

A wonderful mother daughter bond.
